India's Independence History (भारत की आजादी का इतिहास)-India got its freedom from the British Rule on 15th August 1947. The history behind Indian independence is very painful and is full of sacrifices. India's First War of Independence was a revolt of Indian soldiers and people against British rule. Historians had used the terms like the Indian Mutiny or the Sepoy Mutiny to describe this event. The rebellion by Indian troops of the British Empire started in May 1857 and continued until December 1858. In 1885 educated middle class nationals had founded the Indian National Congress. Their aim was to get a much greater say in the way India was governed.

भारत की आजादी के लिये अंग्रेजों के विरुद्ध आन्दोलन दो प्रकार का था - एक अहिंसक आन्दोलन एवं दूसरा सशस्त्र क्रान्तिकारी आन्दोलन। भारत की आज़ादी के लिए 1757 से 1947 के बीच जितने भी प्रयत्न हुए, उनमें स्वतंत्रता का सपना संजोये क्रान्तिकारियों और शहीदों की उपस्थित सबसे अधिक प्रेरणादायी सिद्ध हुई। 1857 का विद्रोह, जो मेरठ में सैन्‍य कर्मियों की बगावत से शुरू हुआ, जल्‍दी ही आगे फैल गया और इससे ब्रिटिश शासन को एक गंभीर चुनौती मिली। जबकि ब्रिटिश शासन इसे एक वर्ष के अंदर ही दबाने में सफल रहा, यह निश्चित रूप से एक ऐसी लोकप्रिय क्रांति थी जिसमें भारतीय शासक, जनसमूह और नागरिक सेना शामिल थी, जिसने इतने उत्‍साह से इसमें भाग लिया कि इसे भारतीय स्‍वतंत्रता का पहला संग्राम कहा जा सकता है। भारत की आजादी का इतिहास 8 मार्च अगस्त 1942 को भारतीय राष्ट्रीय कांग्रेस पार्टी के नेताओं ने बंबई (मुंबई) में मुलाकात की। नेताओं ने एक नीति ब्रिटिश भारत से बाहर मजबूर करने के लिए अपनाया । गांधी का नारा " करो या मरो " एक राष्ट्रीय नारा बन गया, और आंदोलन भारत छोड़ो आंदोलन बन गया। भारत पर 15 अगस्त 1947.

India's independence movement against the British was of two types - a non-violent movement and other armed revolutionary movement . For the independence of India from 1757 to 1947 , all the effort , the dream of freedom they treasured the most inspiring revolutionaries and martyrs proved present. Revolt  of 1857 , which began with a revolt of the military soldiers at Meerut  soon became widespread and posed a grave challenge to the British rule . Though the British succeeded in crushing it within a year , it was definitely a popular revolt in which the Indian rulers, the masses and the militia who had participated so enthusiastically that it be called the First War of Indian. On 8th August 1942, the leaders of the Indian National Congress Party met in Bombay (Mumbai). The leaders adopted a policy to force the British out of India. Gandhi's slogan "Do or Die" became a national slogan, and the movement became the Quit India Movement. , India won its freedom on 15th August 1947.
